I discovered a secret. When a vampire bites you, your blood sugar drops. So I’ve hooked up with this group of vampires lead by Shaw, and man, let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. But to survive, you gotta get real serious about managing your blood sugar. I wrote this little guide to share some of my tips and tricks so you’ll be all set to read Accidental Vampire.

Sometimes, a side character just steals your heart. Sugar, not his real name by the way, always stood out to me. He’s a vampire snack but teaches Lachlan some important lessons in humanity and empathy. When trying to figure out what all this would do to his insulin levels, he kept popping into my head saying we should really write this all down. This is more of a lifestyle magazine than a story.
